I am often asked by friends, "Bob where is the Old Baja
that I fell in love with long ago ? " It seems people want to find a taste
of old world Baja, with rustic charm but close to some modern convenience.
Rustic just not too much so. The pueblo of La Playita fits this
description perfectly. Located just across the bridge, to the east of San Jose
del Cabo, our little village is the gateway to the East Cape and situated on
the marina at Puerto Los Cabos and a beautiful beach.
The life here is all about fishing, boating and enjoying the
good life. This area was very rustic before the marina was built and still retains
the simple life charm. Charter a fishing trip, dine in one of the restaurants,
have your boat or yacht repaired at Marine Group boatyard or just relax at the
beach with your favorite beverage.
For many of us this is the best of Baja and it's
just across the arroyo to the east of downtown San Jose
